Who is AVA International?
Animal & Vegan Advocacy (AVA) International is a non-profit organization working on producing impactful events for the animal- and vegan advocacy movement. Through the AVA Summit events and collaboration with other organizations, they aim to create huge accelerators towards systemic change worldwide.

At the forefront of their endeavors are the renowned AVA Summit events, which have garnered acclaim and admiration across the globe. The AVA Summit serves as a nexus for advocates, professionals, and thought leaders, converging to strategize, collaborate, and catalyze systemic change for animals. The magnitude of these events is truly awe-inspiring, with each iteration surpassing the last in scale, scope, and significance.
In 2022, the AVA Summit took center stage in the heart of Washington, D.C., drawing attendees from far and wide to engage in critical discourse, innovative workshops, and impactful networking opportunities. Building upon this momentum, AVA International raised the bar even higher with the AVA Summit 2023, held amidst the vibrant backdrop of Los Angeles. The City of Angels served as the perfect backdrop for impassioned advocates to converge, exchange ideas, and chart a course toward a future where animals are no longer exploited for human use.
AVA International's reach extends far beyond the borders of the United States. In a landmark collaboration with FAC, the two teams successfully hosted the Asia Farm Animal Day (AFAD) event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last October 8-10, 2023. Over 250 speakers and attendees from across Asia and beyond gathered to share ideas, engage in discussions, and forge new connections in the name of farmed animals. This event marked a significant step forward in advancing animal welfare across the region.
Continuing this success, AVA International and FAC are gearing up for AFAD 2024, set to take place in the historic city of Hanoi, Viet Nam, from October 9-11. With a focus on expanding its audience reach and fostering even deeper conversations, AFAD 2024 promises to be even more impactful than its predecessor. Attendees can look forward to inspiring keynote speeches, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities designed to drive tangible change for farmed animals. From advocating for legislative reforms to promoting plant-based alternatives, AFAD 2024 will empower participants to become effective agents of change in their communities.
What truly sets AVA International apart is not only the scale of their events but also the impact they leave in their wake. Attendees of the AVA Summit consistently rave about the transformative experience, citing the unparalleled networking opportunities, thought-provoking sessions, and sense of camaraderie that permeates every facet of the event.
